Dear Pinole Middle families,

Welcome to the 2025-26 school year Pinole community! We hope you all enjoyed a restful and rejuvenating summer. As we embark on a new school year, we are thrilled to reconnect with you and are excited about the opportunities and experiences for the students that lie ahead.

Our team has been hard at work preparing for the upcoming school year, and we are eager to welcome our students back. This year, we are committed to providing a supportive and engaging environment where each student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We have a number of new initiatives and programs planned that we believe will enhance our school community and enrich the educational experience for all students. 

Important Dates and Information:

• Annual Forms are mandatory for student enrollment.  Completion of these forms ensures funding for our school.  You may access and complete these forms through your PowerSchool parent account.  
• Orientation days:  Monday, August 4th & Tuesday, August 5th.
  • Monday, August 4th:
    • 9:00 am - 10:30 am Students with last names A - F 
    • 10:30 am - 12:00 pm Students with last names G - L
  • Tuesday, August 5th:
    • 9:00 am - 10:30 am Students with last names M - R
    • 10:30 am -12:00 pm Students with last names S - Z 
• Instructional Leadership Team (ILT) Retreat: Thursday, August 7th at PVHS.
• First Day of School:  Tuesday August 19th. This will be a minimum day, dismissal will be at 1:35PM.
• Pinole Middle Admin Meet and Greet with Community: Monday, August 18th at 5:30PM at PMS.

As we start this new chapter, we are excited to work together with you to ensure that this is a successful and enjoyable year for our students. We are confident that with the continued support and collaboration of our parents, guardians, and staff, we will make this school year one of growth, learning, and achievement.
